314.Airbase Security Company is part of the 31st Airbase Battalion at the Helicopter Wing, Malmen. The company consists of airbase security platoons, a sensor platoon, and a dog unit. The main task of the company is to detect, locate, identify, and counter security threats against the air combat forces. The Airbase Security Company is part of the 31st Airbase Battalion, whose main tasks include the operation of the Malmen airbase, operation of a mobile airbase, and basic training of conscripts.

41.Airbase Security Platoon/IBSS

The 41st Airbase Security Platoon/IBSS is responsible for the operational readiness of the protection force for the wing and its surrounding area. The primary task of IBSS is patrolling, guarding, and responding to protected objects in the area. In addition, the platoon also handles basic tasks within combat and security service within the framework of airbase security.

Main Responsibilities

The daily routine service as an operations manager involves planning and leading patrols, guarding, and responding in assigned areas of responsibility. The position includes irregular working hours and/or on-call and weekend shifts, which means that the working time is 35 hours/week. In addition to the daily routine service, the operations manager will plan and conduct training days within the framework of both IBSS service and airbase security service.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Swedish citizen
• Driving license B (manual)
• Approved specialist officer training
• Meets the Swedish Armed Forces physical requirements (FM FysS)

Meritorious

• Previous service in security units
• Previous service as a commander of an operational readiness protection force
• Previous work in protection and guarding
• Military driving license

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in smaller groups in a routine and occasionally demanding environment. The majority of the work is conducted within the framework of established operations, which places high demands on physical and mental ability to handle stress and suddenly changing working conditions. You have a high security awareness, good collaboration skills, strong leadership qualities, and high social competence. You also show great commitment to the platoon's capability development and take initiative to drive the operations forward.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.
